Up & Active Exercise Physiology Team
The Up and Active Exercise Physiology team has a broad range of special interests, knowledge and educational backgrounds to provide care for a variety of patients. We work closely we our Physiotherapy team, who are located at 24 Taylor Street Toowoomba and share our Highfields clinic.
We prioritise regular continuing professional development education both internally and from external training providers. At Up and Active our senior clinicians mentor and coach our junior team members to share knowledge that is gained by experience. You may even be lucky enough to be a ‘shadow patient’ where you will find yourself (with consent) being assessed and treated by your Exercise Physiologist and a senior mentor.

Team Building
We work hard but we also play hard, with a great emphasis on our team building and culture development days.
Throughout our years Up & Active has been on scavenger hunts, a pirate pub crawl, we have golfed, bowled, crafted and played croquet. We thought we topped it with a fun, wet and muddy day at Emu Gully until our 2024 Story Bridge Climb. We have a big focus on enjoying our work, providing the best for our patients and exceeding expectations whilst achieving a happy lifestyle balance.
